Alice Comes to Life!
We're All Mad Here!!! Hehe! Hello my dears! On this episode of Art NuVogue I'm working on the first in a series of Wonderland themed paintings for my upcoming solo show entitled, "Let Them Play Croquet" Check out my artistic process and follow me from inspiration to completion!

Down the Rabbit Hole.....
After much deliberation and a little R&D..... I've decided on my theme for my upcoming show! It's going to be a kind of hybrid of different ideas.... drawing inspirations from Alice in Wonderland, Marie Antoinette, and Victorian Fashion.
Some of my favorite inspiration images....
With tea cups and powdered wigs dancing in my head.... It was time to get to work! I've been holding onto these AMAZING tea cup halves that were custom cut for use in mosaics and such. I've been dying to use them in a couple paintings, and what better use than in an Alice in Wonderland themed piece!
I'm also excited to announce I've joined the TUMBLR revolution! It's a fantastic place to discover and share inspiration. You can quickly "reblog" inspirational images and basically collect your ideas all in one place! I've started gathering up tons of gorgeous imagery to inspire my show concept! It's Showtime!
Soooooo excited to announce my upcoming solo show!!! I've been invited to display my work at French Cuff Consignment in Davis California! I've got my work cut out for me and I have ambitiously (or some may say psychotically) decided to create a ton of new pieces for it. The reception will open on September 9th and will be up for one month! I can't wait! I'll be posting up the new pieces for the show as they develop! All I need is concept and show title!
