A beautiful day at the Yacht Club Opening Day Event in Benicia! Made lots of new friends and saw lots of beautiful items! My new jewelry line was a hit as well! I'll be sharing all the new items with you guys soon!
Hey guys! So I had been thinking I needed some element to finish off my swan girl paintings. I knew I didn't really want heavy frames since the wood panels are already so heavy, so I did some hunting around and discover these awesome things on eBay called "antique trunk corners." They were just what I needed! Of course they only came in gold though- so I had to do some spray painting! I love me some spray painting! I sprayed the pieces silver and then coated then with an acrylic paint texture made by "Golden" called Iridescent Stainless Steel Coarse. It has a fine grit to it that gave my trunk corners more of antique aged feel. Once fully dry I adhered the corners to the final paintings!
